Post Role: The Chief of Staff ensures capability coherence across the 1* Support Capability branch and manages the 1* Support Capability Planning Board (CPB).
Responsibilities:
Deliver coherent routine Support Capability outputs across Mil Commands NAD Group and MSHQ.
- Cohere branch deliverables at CPB level engaging 2* areas to meet demanding staffing timelines.
- Act as conduit into the 3* Defence Support organisation liaising directly with 2* areas.
- Lead internal branch management including MS budget training external communications discipline and performance.
- Manage and act as Secretary for the 1* CPB deconflicting joint Support C2 development activity.
- Provide 2*/3* briefs to support high-level meetings with the HoC.
- Conduct significant stakeholder engagement across Commands and organisations.
