Assistant Team Lead Physical and Sensory Support Team

(Temporary 0.4 FTE)

STPC LAH L 8 - 12

Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

Working 13 hours per week.

This is a temporary part time position for one term in the first instance.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced practitioner to join our Physical and Sensory Support Team as a temporary Assistant Team Lead working 0.4 FTE.

This role will support the Team Lead in the daytoday leadership of a specialist service for children and young people with physical sensory and medical needs. You will contribute to casework oversight workforce support and service development working closely with schools families and partner agencies.

We are particularly interested in applicants who have:

  • Experience of working within physical and/or sensory support services and should already be working in a teacher role.
  • A strong interest in training workforce development and capacitybuilding
  • A positive and informed approach to assistive technology and inclusive practice to support access independence and participation

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership skills while continuing to have a direct impact on practice and outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
