Job Summary
Job Title: Senior Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician
Location: Warwick RI
Pay: $35 - $50 per hour Sign-on Bonus (up to $5000)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Refrigeration Service Technician to support the service repair and maintenance of commercial and industrial refrigeration HVAC and related mechanical systems. This role focuses on diagnosing equipment issues performing repairs preventative maintenance and ensuring customer systems operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Repair and service refrigeration heating and ventilation equipment including compressors water pumps air handlers condensers electric motors and control devices.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
Test and troubleshoot systems using electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools.
Service commercial refrigeration systems including display cases walk-in coolers/freezers and rack systems.
Perform minor installation startup and remodeling-related work when required.
Maintain accurate service records job tickets and work orders.
Support field operations including equipment pickup delivery and installation when needed.
Operate company vehicle safely and follow all safety procedures.
Participate in on-call or emergency service rotations as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
EPA Certification required.
Trade school or vocational training preferred.
5 years of commercial refrigeration service experience.
Experience working on refrigeration systems in supermarkets convenience stores or similar environments preferred.
Familiarity with single systems rack systems display cases and walk-in refrigeration units.
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex refrigeration systems.
Valid drivers license with a good driving record.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in field environments for extended periods.
