Position Summary
A respected acute care hospital in Plano TX is seeking an experienced Administrative Director Women & Childrens Services to lead and oversee clinical and administrative operations across Womens and Childrens departments. This executive-level leader will be responsible for strategic planning operational excellence financial performance and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise in Womens Services along with proven leadership experience in hospital-based environments.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of Women & Childrens Services (L&D NICU PICU Pediatrics etc.)
Plan organize and coordinate both clinical and administrative functions
Ensure delivery of high-quality safe and patient-centered care
Manage staffing models department budgets and resource allocation
Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
Drive service line growth and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Support leadership development staff education and training programs
Participate in hospital committees and community health initiatives
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required
Masters Degree in Nursing or related field Required
Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License
National Specialty Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Minimum 10 years of nursing experience in Womens Services (L&D NICU PICU Pediatrics etc.)
Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience
