Summary:
We are seeking a detailed oriented Shipping Receiving and Logistics Coordinator to manage domestic and international shipments ensure accurate documentation and maintain efficient warehouse and logistics operations. The position requires strong organizational skills and experience coordinating with couriers customs documentation and internal teams.
What you will be doing:
- Ensure that all samples are entered in the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) in an accurate and expedient manner
- Ensure all sample integrity issues are properly documented and reported
- Keep CPM team sales team and lab managers informed on rush and time sensitive samples that arrive at the lab as well as incoming expected samples
- Ensure proper and accurate completion of all outgoing bottle orders
- Ensure availability of sample supply stock
- Ensure sample pick-ups and supply delivery meets client expectations. Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement to management
- Ensure compliance with required safety protocols and adherence to PPE policy
- Prepare and process domestic and international shipments
- Generate shipping documentation (commercial invoices packing lists airway bills bills of lading)
- Coordinate shipments with couriers and freight carriers
- Ensure customs and export compliance
- Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records
- Coordinate with internal teams (labs and purchasing)
- Package materials according to shipping regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area
- Other duties as assigned
What you bring to the table
- 2 to 3 years experience in shipping receiving logistics or warehouse operations
- Experience with international shipping and customs documentation
- Familiarity with couriers (FedEx UPS DHL and freight carriers)
- Knowledge of export documentation and customs requirements
- Experience with dangerous goods shipping
- IATA certification or TDG knowledge
- Forklift certification
