Key responsibilities
- Leading mentoring and developing a team of Indirect Tax specialists and tax technology experts cultivating a collaborative environment and improving capabilities within the GBS tax organization
- Providing input and recommendations to the Indirect Tax strategy and governance framework within the GBS organization
- Overseeing Indirect Tax compliance processes and ensuring accurate timely filings across jurisdictions
- Overseeing other indirect tax filing compliance processes and ensuring accurate timely filings across jurisdictions
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Monitoring changes in legislation and assessing business impact
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to improve VAT risk management and managing process transformation
- Acting as an advisor to finance and business teams on complex VAT matters and cross-border transactions
- Supporting tax audits and liaising with external advisors and tax authorities
- Implementing process improvements standardization and automation within VAT processes
Our requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in VAT / indirect tax
- Ability to develop and engage high-performing teams supporting collaboration and continuous improvement
- Solid knowledge of European VAT regulations and cross-border transactions
- Experience in multinational companies Big4 or consulting firms or shared services environments (GBS/SSC)
- ERP experience (e.g. SAP) will be beneficial
- High analytical and communication skills
- Fluent English
