Maintenance Engineering Specialist

Your role and responsibilities:

This position will provide Maintenance Engineering support for the plants manufacturing operations. Typical duties include equipment reliability improvements maintenance planning troubleshooting support CAPEX project execution preventive/predictive maintenance development and documentation.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Lead maintenance engineering and capital projects by planning and executing equipment upgrades reliability improvements layout/maintainability enhancements and CAPR justifications while ensuring projects stay within approved budgets.
• Manage full lifecycle of capital equipment including specification development vendor selection procurement installation commissioning programming documentation training and longterm production support.
• Drive equipment reliability and performance through rootcause analysis of failures development of corrective actions and optimization of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies across mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate and support plant operations by assisting maintenance technicians with complex troubleshooting ensuring equipment meets engineering/safety standards maintaining accurate documentation and partnering with production reliability and engineering teams to maximize uptime.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelors Degree (Engineering preferred) with minimum 2 years experience in engineering automation or maintenance related discipline.
• Strong technical foundation in mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems with handson experience troubleshooting industrial and automated equipment.
• Skilled in datadriven problem solving including analyzing equipment performance applying lean/continuous improvement methods and developing effective corrective actions.
• Preferred experience with PLCs computer controlled systems CAD software PMP and/or Lean Certifications.
• Excellent communication organizational and criticalthinking skills with a creative resourceful approach to achieving operational goals.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
