Role Overview
We are seeking a senior hands-on Lead E Commerce Engineer to drive the design development and optimization of customer-facing digital commerce platforms. This role blends technical leadership with active hands-on delivery owning architecture platform integrations and engineering execution across large-scale e commerce experiences.
You will lead a small but high-impact engineering function partner closely with Product UX Content and Marketing teams and ensure the platform is scalable secure performant and conversion-focused.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Core Requirements
7 years of software engineering experience with 3 years in a technical leadership role
Strong hands-on experience with React-based web applications and APIs
Deep experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) (3 years strongly preferred)
Solid knowledge of Java / Spring Boot and modern backend integration patterns
Experience with microservices SPAs event-driven and serverless architectures
Strong understanding of PCI WCAG PII encryption and security best practices

Salesforce Commerce Cloud OMS CRM integrations
API Gateways GraphQL OAuth
CDN DNS SSL Akamai / edge computing
AI-driven search (e.g. Coveo or similar)
