Job Summary

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related fields.
At least 8 years of experience in the financial and/or accounting area or similar functions.
A B2 or C1 level of English is essential.
Have experience working with Oracle
Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables VLOOKUPS and data analysis).

General objective:

The Project Accountant II provides financial governance and control over projects throughout their lifecycle by leading project inception handovers monitoring cost and revenue performance and ensuring accurate monthend reporting and forecasting. The role proactively manages financial exceptions reviews contractual billability validates accruals and adjustments and supports informed decisionmaking through timely analysis of margins collections and project performance. Working closely with Project Managers Project Controls and Finance the Project Accountant II ensures disciplined financial execution compliance with accounting and contractual requirements and transparent reporting of project outcomes.

Main responsibilities:

Support new project setup and financial handover activities ensuring accurate project structure controls and alignment with approved contractual and financial requirements.
Perform weekly reviews of cost and revenue exceptions monitor gross margin performance and track collection updates working with project teams to resolve identified issues.
Review contractual billability of resource assignments to ensure costs and revenue are recorded and billed in compliance with contract terms and client agreements.
Review and validate monthend accruals overhead allocations foreign exchange adjustments and gross margin to ensure accurate and compliant project financial results.
Prepare and present post monthend project reporting at Worley Project Review (WPR) including actions related to cost of sales risks and opportunities (claims / liquidated damages) writeoffs and revenue checklists compile inputs for project budgets and forecasts and present results to stakeholders.
