The Team Youll Work With:
The Office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Justice advances policies that promote a more equitable and vibrant New York City. The portfolio includes the Citys economic cultural and labor agencies including but not limited to the Mayors Office of Talent and Workforce Development the New York City Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and the Department of Small Business Services (SBS).

The Mayors World Cup Team sits within the office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Justice and is responsible for developing and implementing the Mayors vision for the World Cup. This will include ensuring that the World Cup is safe affordable accessible to New Yorkers and benefits the Citys small businesses and tourism industry.

The Problems Youll Solve:
Project management will include:
-Task tracking defining project scope implementing standard operating procedures monitoring deliverables and conducting follow-up from meetings.
-Stakeholder management including reporting on project status convening and facilitating meetings and serving as a representative for the team in interagency and external meetings.
-Research and writing including basic data analysis and landscape assessments.
-Administrative support including scheduling note-taking and brief writing when required.
-Risk management including identifying risks and developing mitigation plans to avoid project delays.

About You:
-You have strong writing and communication skills especially experience developing effective high-level presentations memos and reports.
-You have discretion sensitivity and attention to detail.
-You have experience with executive communication and high-level stakeholder management.

Qualifications :

1. Do you have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university

2. Do you have an associate degree from an accredited college or university along with two (2) years of experience with administrative analytic coordinative supervisory or liaison responsibilities

3. Do you have a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a states Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization along with four (4) years of experience as described in question 2 above

4. Do you have a satisfactory combination of education and/or experience equivalent to that described in questions 1 2 and/or 3 above
