Job Summary
Job Description
- Appropriate academic qualifications (Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Electrical Electronics and/or Communications Engineering or equivalent).
- Basic understanding of Traffic Signals and/or Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
- Passion for designing and developing trafficsignalized intersections and ITS solutions including Variable Message Signs (VMS) CCTV systems vehicle detection systems power and communication networks.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate ITS components into broader transport and infrastructure projects.
- Basic understanding of British American Canadian and other international design standards and specifications (training will be provided).
- Basic knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Pro for electrical calculations.
- Familiarity with modern communication tools and online working platforms.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications particularly MS Excel and Word.
- Ability to deliver assigned tasks within set time frames.
- Willingness to learn to work independently and gradually take responsibility for small tasks or components of projects.
- Exposure to or interest in working within an offshoring/global delivery environment (desirable).
- Interest in digital delivery tools and methods (desirable).
- Ability to collaborate with wider teams and eagerness to learn from engineers/senior engineers/leads.
