Job Summary

Job Summary

The HR Operations Lead is responsible for planning supporting and managing operations and services for the Human Resources Department office. This includes operational planning event planning and management communications monitoring the divisional budget records management and working with sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner. The HR Operations Lead provides oversight and recommendations on programs linked to institutional HR initiatives and to the department.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • Three (3) years senior office administration experience preferably in a post-secondary environment or similar complex organization
  • Proven ability to work with minimal or no supervision multi-task and work to tight deadlines with conflicting priorities
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Able to exercise a high level of professionalism including tact discretion and diplomacy when dealing with diverse internal/external individuals and groups
  • Demonstrated experience and skill handling information and situations of a highly confidential and/or sensitive nature
  • Superior interpersonal and written/oral communication skills including writing for diverse audiences
  • Proven ability to manage/reconcile budgets and analyze financial reports
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed proactive and discrete
  • Experience in event and/or project management
  • Knowledge and understanding of post-secondary policies and procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of various software applications primarily Microsoft Office Outlook calendar/mail and Adobe Emburse Adele Banner and FAST.
