Job Summary
Job Description: Remote Proofreader
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and edit written content for spelling grammar punctuation and formatting errors
- Ensure that content meets company standards and guidelines
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the quality of content
- Work remotely to proofread a variety of documents including articles reports and marketing materials
- aborate with writers and editors to ensure accuracy and clarity in all content
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in English Journalism Communication or related field
- Proven experience as a proofreader or editor
- Strong attention to detail and excellent command of the English language
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desired Experience:
- Experience working remotely in a similar role
- Familiarity with style guides such as AP Chicago or MLA
- Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus
