Responsibilities of an Account Manager
- Prospect and generate first-time business from new accounts
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients
- Grow revenue within existing customer accounts
- Re-engage dormant or inactive accounts
- Manage the sales process from proposal to close
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets
- Conduct on-site visits with prospective and existing clients
- Identify and pursue open market and street bid opportunities
What our ideal candidate looks like
- 3 years of sales experience in construction or related industries with a proven track record of securing direct work and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Strong understanding of the construction process and industry trends
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate client needs and develop strategic solutions
- Experience in managing and growing a robust sales pipeline
- Proficiency in CRM systems and project management tools
