About the Role:
The successful DT Technology Teacher will deliver Design & Technology across Key Stages 35 with the opportunity to specialise in areas such as product design resistant materials or engineering depending on expertise. You will create and deliver engaging hands-on lessons that inspire creativity problem-solving and practical skills. The school values innovation and you will have the scope to develop new projects competitions and enrichment activities that allow students to apply their learning in meaningful real-world contexts.

In addition to classroom teaching there is significant scope to contribute to co-curricular activities including STEM clubs maker projects robotics challenges and design competitions. You will work collaboratively with a supportive department to plan assess and improve curriculum delivery and student outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications:

• QTS/PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification

• Relevant degree in Design & Technology Engineering or Product Design

• Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level DT highly desirable

• Strong practical skills and confidence with workshop tools and machinery

• Excellent organisation communication and planning skills

• Commitment to co-curricular involvement and holistic education
