Seasonal Employment Support Professional
Part Time Seasonal Position (Approximately 12 weeks 32hrs/wk) Hourly $19.43 CAD

The Seasonal Employment Support Professional provides services to people in a vocational setting. They assist with activities in a workplace environment and provide employment supports to people working at their jobs and in their community. The Seasonal Employment Support Professional ensures that people who experience disabilities belong to communities in which their God-given gifts are valued and respected. They work in cooperation with their team and complete administrative duties as assigned. The Seasonal Employment Support Professional seeks to promote Christian Horizons Service Principles by enhancing relationships promoting citizenship valuing peoples gifts recognizing self-determination encouraging growth and development and recognizing the need for holistic supports in a manner that
considers each persons intrinsic value.
The Seasonal Employment Support Professional helps build communities of belonging in accordance to the core Values of Christian Horizons; Valuing People Fostering Belonging Serving Others and Respecting Gifts. Requirements of the Canada Summer Jobs Program for this position:
- The candidate will work 30 hours a week for approximately 12 weeks;
- Be between the ages of 18-30 at the start of employment;
- Be a Canadian Citizen permanent resident or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
