Club Lounge Attendant (Full-time, Seasonal)
Job Summary
Sheraton Club Lounge takes comfort to the next level! The personalized service provided as you serve them in our private lounge at Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire will show them that you truly care. The experience and the memories you make for our Guests as a Club Lounge Attendant will create a sense of loyalty that will ensure their return.
Please note that the start date for this role will be May 1 2026 with the end date of October 1 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently offer a professional and friendly greeting and provide engaging & exceptional service
- Responsible for the set up and break down of all food and beverage presentations in the lounge (breakfast coffee/tea service bar service and canapés)
- Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items. Have knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods
- Attention to detail in ensuring the lounge is well maintained at all times and that the ambiance changes in the lounge from one food and beverage presentation to the next
- Clearing dishes from guest tables and ensuring cleanliness of the lounge and services areas
Identify guest preferences and act on them to develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure loyalty - Create strong relationships with other departments
- Responsible for In-Suite Dining deliveries
- Follow all policies procedures and service standards including health & safety and food handling procedures
Qualifications :
What will you bring to this role
- Previous customer service experience is required with previous food & beverage experience preferred
- Must hold valid Alberta ProServe certification
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Must enjoy working in a team environment and be Health & Safety Conscious
- Must have excellent communication skills and be committed to providing excellent guest service
Availability
Must be available to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and holidays.
