The Role
As Business Studies Teacher you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to contribute to Post-16 Business depending on experience and timetable. The curriculum is designed to help students develop strong commercial awareness alongside the analytical and evaluative skills needed for exam success.
Students explore a wide range of topics including:
Business aims ownership and organisation
Marketing and market research
Finance budgeting and cash flow
Operations and supply chains
Human resources and leadership
External influences such as technology ethics and global markets
Lessons are structured to develop students ability to apply theory to real contexts interpret data evaluate decisions and write well-structured answers using evidence and business terminology.
