ROLE SUMMARY
This is a high-intensity high-performance and highly rewarding role.
The successful candidate will own the commercial growth of our UPS BESS and Solar solutions driving revenue opening new markets and positioning G&J as a modern integrated energy solutions provider.
This role is not transactional. It requires:
Strong technical understanding
Commercial aggression
Confidence engaging consultants engineers developers and C-suite decision-makers
Ability to sell solutions not just equipment
Aggressively drive sales of UPS BESS and Solar solutions across targeted sectors
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting to close
Convert generator-led clients into hybrid UPS-backed and energy-optimised solutions
Identify and pursue new opportunities in data centers telecoms healthcare banking mining real estate and industrial clients
Lead client presentations technical discussions and proposal development
Work closely with technical and engineering teams to design bankable compliant solutions
Support load analysis system sizing redundancy planning and energy optimization concepts
Ensure solutions align with client uptime efficiency and CAPEX/OPEX objectives
Position G&J as a credible forward-thinking energy solutions partner
Build strong relationships with consultants MEP engineers developers and EPCs
Monitor competitor offerings pricing and technology trends
Support brand visibility through industry engagements and LinkedIn thought leadership
Work collaboratively with generator sales teams to complement not compete
Support cross-selling into existing G&J client accounts
Maintain CRM discipline and accurate reporting
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Energy Systems or similar
Minimum 47 years experience in:
UPS
Solar PV
Power systems
Energy or critical infrastructure sales
Strong technical confidence with UPS systems batteries inverters and solar architecture
Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
Highly driven self-motivated and commercially aggressive
