A reputable importer and distributor of premium wines and spirits is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to drive revenue growth and expand market presence across assigned territories. The company specializes in the importation and distribution of internationally recognized wine and liquor brands supplying supermarkets hotels restaurants bars and retail outlets across Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets. This role requires a proactive field professional with strong negotiation skills deep market knowledge within the beverages industry and the ability to promote premium brands in a competitive market effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Business Development: Generate new leads through cold calling field visits networking and referrals to build a strong client pipeline within assigned territories.
Client Meetings & Product Presentations: Conduct face-to-face meetings with retailers hotels restaurants bars and distributors to present and promote wine and liquor products.
Negotiation & Closing: Handle client objections negotiate pricing and commercial terms and close sales to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Account Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business product visibility and opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Market Intelligence & Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports track performance against targets monitor competitor activity and provide market insights to management.
Territory Planning & Execution: Plan daily and weekly field visits strategically to maximize market coverage product placement and distribution efficiency.
Brand Visibility & Merchandising: Ensure proper product display branding and stock levels at client outlets to maintain strong market presence.
Requirements
Minimum of 510 years sales experience preferably within the wines spirits beverages or FMCG industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of the wines and spirits market including distribution channels (HORECA retail supermarkets).
Ability to work independently manage time effectively and operate in a field-based environment.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly within assigned territories.
Valid drivers license (an advantage if applicable).
