Senior Business Analyst ERP

Job Description

As a Senior Functional Business Analyst at CONVO you will play a pivotal role in delivering digital transformation solutions for some of the worlds leading FMCG companies. Your primary mission: understand client needs master the RGM platform and configure ERP solutions that deliver measurable value.

Youll bridge business and technology combining deep industry understanding a hands-on approach to configuration and a sharp questioning mindset. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex business problems through systems and data not just requirements documents.

What Youll Do

• Configure ERP systems based on business needs from module setup to detailed functional rules
• Lead functional design activities and translate client needs into ERP system behavior
• Run and facilitate workshops to map business processes and align on solution design
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to translate configurations into deployments
• Challenge assumptions and proactively propose improvements to business processes or technical solutions
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and execution
• Build client trust by understanding their commercial goals and aligning solutions accordingly
• Guide junior analysts and contribute to internal best practice development
• Stay current on industry trends in FMCG and how they relate to digital transformation and sales enablement

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 5 years in a Business Analyst ERP Consultant or Functional Consultant role
• Experience configuring business applications or ERP systems (e.g. XTEL SAP Oracle Salesforce)
• Strong understanding of sales/commercial processes especially in FMCG or Consumer Goods
• Technically curious and able to ask why youre not afraid to challenge the brief or dig into root causes
• Strong experience in data analysis using Excel SQL and Power BI is required.
• Skilled at working with cross-functional teams: business stakeholders technical teams testers
• Comfortable supporting the full project lifecycle: workshops configuration testing deployment and support
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery models
• Excellent communication facilitation and stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience with requirement gathering and creating functional specs
• Background in Revenue Growth Management Trade Promotion Management or Sales Force Automation
• Exposure to FMCG-focused sales automation platforms
