The Opportunity

Our Acacia Ridge facility is looking for a MANUFACTURING TEAM LEADER in our Processing and Logistics team based in Acacia Ridge Queensland. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor you will lead a team of 20 team members working with the manufacturing team to deliver exceptional outcomes for our QLD Customers.

In this fast-paced site that handles over 500000 tonnes of steel per year you will have direct impact on the delivery performance of BlueScope Australian Steel Products.

You will join a well-established professional team working on a rotating 12-hour shift roster (2 days/2 nights 4 off) Monday to Sunday. What Will You Do

You will demonstrate your leadership skills and be responsible for:

• leading the shift operations team to achieve business targets and ensure operations are within standards
• supervising and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency performance and mitigate risk - striving for on time delivery for our customers
• ensure safety standards and operating costs are adhered to making suitable changes when risks and opportunities are identified
• supervising the operational activities and striving for business improvements and manufacturing excellence
• growing and mentoring your team to develop and enhance their performance and capability
