Job Summary
OUT Next Top Talent is a 3-day event for you to learn the ins and OUTs of our Actuarial & Analytics department. It is also a contest - you will be assigned topics and have the opportunity to pitch your ideas to a panel of our senior leadership possibly securing you prize money and a job offer for employment in 2026.
How do you get IN
You need to be studying towards an Honours or Masters Degree in either Actuarial Science or a Data Science related field (Statistics Maths etc.) in 2026.
You need to have an interest in the world of data science modelling of actuarial and/or operational concepts and creating solutions to real-world business problems.
What do you get OUT
- Cash of R3000 for participation - no strings attached!
- If selected for participation further prizes of up to R7000 are up for grabs. This means the stand-OUT participant will walk away from the event with R10000 in cash!
- The possibility of a job offer to start work in 2026
Participate in an on-site contest that includes:
- Engaging with the actuarial and analytics teams to gain insight into what it takes to run a top insurance company.
