AmLaw 25 firm seeking a Public Finance Associate Attorney or Counsel to join its Public Finance team in Dallas.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 25 yrs exp handling a broad range of public finance matters for state and local government entities. The role includes work on municipal bonds notes and other tax-exempt or taxable obligations across the U.S. and its territories for public infrastructure and capital improvement projects.
The Role
Advise state and local government entities on public finance transactions
Handle tax-exempt and taxable municipal bond financings
Support debt offerings and capital improvement financing transactions
Work on financings involving cities counties housing authorities school districts junior college districts and special-purpose districts
Collaborate within a nationally recognized public finance platform on sophisticated transactions
Ideal Background
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
25 yrs exp in public finance and municipal bond transactions
Experience with tax-exempt municipal bond financing
Strong transactional background
Experience representing governmental entities preferred
Excellent drafting negotiation and communication skills
Strong academic credentials
Admitted in Texas or eligible for admission
