Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab
Location: Hackensack New Jersey
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12s (9:00 AM 9:30 PM)
Hours: 36 per week
Weekends/Holidays: As needed
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to function as an intra-procedural RN in a high-acuity cardiac catheterization lab.
The RN will be responsible for:
Procedural documentation
Medication administration
Circulating minimally invasive cardiac procedures
Supporting off-hours and weekend cardiac cases
Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment.
Required Qualifications
Active NJ RN License (or Compact)
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
Telemetry certification
ASN required (BSN preferred)
Cath Lab experience required
Required Clinical Experience
Functioning as intra-procedural RN
Circulating procedures such as:
Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Documentation and medication administration during procedures
On-call coverage for cardiac procedures
Preferred Experience
Critical care background
EPIC EMR
Sensis
Experience with advanced cardiac devices:
IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
Impella
Shockwave therapy
Atherectomy devices
Vascular and/or Neuro diagnostic & interventional procedures
