Skills and Competencies
- Proven ability to drive revenue through crosssell and upsell opportunities within an existing client base as well as through new client acquisition.
- Strong consultative selling capability with the ability to sell using a needsbased solutionsoriented approach.
- Demonstrated ability to influence key decisionmakers throughout the full lifecycle of the sales process.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills combined with strong client relationship management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities meet short deadlines and work with high attention to detail in a fastpaced environment.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or a related field required
Responsibilities
- Drive sales by identifying crosssell and upsell opportunities within an assigned book of existing accounts while also initiating sales activity with new prospects and managing sales cycles through to closure.
- Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to drive sales growth within an assigned sales territory for Moodys Credit Research Ratings and Analytics solutions.
- Manage the full lifecycle sales process including prospecting new clients leveraging existing client relationships delivering sales presentations and leading contract negotiations.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of client organizations and internal processes to guide clients toward appropriate products and licensing solutions.
- Meet established revenue targets while building and strengthening customer relationships to ensure longterm client satisfaction.
- Provide accurate and uptodate sales forecasts and pipeline information to management.
- Partner with Product Strategists Marketing Strategists and other internal stakeholders to leverage subjectmatter expertise throughout the sales cycle and support the promotion of Moodys solutions.
- Represent the company at industry and companysponsored events as required.
- Operate effectively in a dynamic work environment including up to 50% travel for facetoface client engagement while maintaining flexibility through a hybrid working model.
