The Branch Manager is a dynamic results-oriented leader responsible for the overall performance growth and success of a WaFd branch. This high-impact role focuses on driving business development and sales particularly with small businesses while growing deposits originating loans and expanding client relationships through cross-selling additional services. The Branch Manager is responsible to lead coach and develop a high-performing team to achieve growth goals deliver outstanding customer service and ensures compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
Branch Managers must:

- Conduct themselves in accordance with company ethics standards at all times.
- Demonstrate professionalism in all communication and consistently be kind.
- Meet performance metrics and production goals.
- Coach motivate mentor and provide feedback to staff.
- Ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in finance business or a related field.
- 5 years in banking with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role; prior sales or client relations experience preferred.
- Proven success in small business development deposit/loan growth and cross-selling.
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations compliance and operational procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook Teams) keyboarding and digital banking tools.
- Excellent organizational analytical communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have valid drivers license and ability to be bonded.
