Salary G6: 31537- 34434 (Pro Rata to hours worked) (plus 5% enhancement for unsociable hours and additional payments for sleeping in duties)

Location: Various homes across the borough of Walsall this will be determined upon appointment.
We are looking for people who have some experience of working with children in any setting to join our Childrens Residential Services within Walsall.
This role requires you to be resilient resourceful enthusiastic and motivated to be a positive influence on our children.
All successful candidates will be expected to work as part of a team that provides 24/7 on a rota basis. These shift patterns may vary across the service but they willall include working weekdays weekends bank holidays and sleeping in duties (additional payment).

Our Homes can accommodate children up to their 18th Birthday. Due to the nature of this post employees must be at least 4 years older than the oldest resident. Therefore applicants must be 21 years of age or older
This post is covered by the Governments Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
