About the role
We are currently building a housekeeping team and we are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to start with us from 19h August 2024.
As a Housekeeping Supervisor you will assist the Housekeeping Manager to lead and develop the housekeeping team while maintaining our brand standards for cleaning hotel rooms and public spaces

• Allocate work duties to Team Members
• Perform routine inspections of all check out rooms and spot checks of all occupied rooms
• Report and follow up on any maintenance defects or other issues
• Inspect routinely service areas store rooms and corridors
• Manage and train Room Attendants and other Team Members to ensure their performance is to the standards required
• Ability and willingness to be hands on and clean rooms as often as required
• Manage efficiently stock control and the maintenance of equipment
• Provide excellent Guest service including VIP and other special requirements
• Ensure the adherence to hotel brand standards at all times

What are we looking for

• Previous experience in a Housekeeping supervisory role (highly advantageous)
• Ability to contribute to building a harmonious team environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
• Proficient with computers and computer programs including Microsoft Office

Pay Rates:
We appreciate the skill and effect required to work in housekeeping and thats why we offer the following highly competitive wage rates.
Monday Friday $29.16
Saturday $36.45
Sunday $51.03
Public Holidays $72.90
