Functional Analyst Intern

Job Description

Overview

You will work closely with analysts developers and business stakeholders to design and implement Power Platformbased solutions with the goal of automating processes andoptimizingways of working.

Your role

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs propose and implement the right solution.
• Work with IT teams and resources to assess solution feasibility learn best practices leverage lessons learned and past business cases.
• Translate business requirements into clear structured functional specifications.
• Model current state and future state business processes.
• Design and develop solutions using Power Platform tools (mainly Power Automate Power Apps).
• Use SharePoint Online lists and libraries as data sources.
• Assess risks by identifying probability and impact and propose mitigation measures.
• Create and maintain technical documentation of the solutions features and configuration elements in accordance with team standards.
• Develop and execute system testing and test plans support and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
• Participate in technical knowledge sharing workshops about developed solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and recommend enhancements.

About you

• Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or equivalent.
• Technical background and basic programming knowledge.
• Logical solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio).
• Knowledge of SharePoint Online (an asset).
• Knowledge of Power BI and/or databases (an asset).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to communication style and clearly explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Bilingual in French and English both written and spoken.
