The General Manager Finance is a pivotal commercial and strategic leadership role responsible for leading the entire Finance function. Based in Melbourne and reporting into senior leadership this role oversees Financial Accounting FP&A Procurement and Financial Systems ensuring the delivery of accurate timely and insightful financial information that drives business performance.
As a key member of the Extended Leadership Team you will provide critical commercial insight to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence. You will be accountable for the preparation of statutory and management reports oversight of audit and tax compliance processes treasury management and the integrity of financial systems and internal controls.
This role requires a forward-thinking finance leader who can balance governance and compliance with commercial performance contributing meaningfully to budgeting forecasting and long-term strategic planning initiatives. You will also lead and develop a high-performing finance team of approximately 20 professionals driving continuous improvement across the function and the broader business.

You are a highly commercial strategic and results-driven finance leader with over 10 years experience managing a finance function within a complex or CPA qualified you bring deep technical expertise across statutory reporting tax compliance financial controls and financial analysis.
You have successfully led month-end processes prepared statutory accounts and income tax work papers and partnered closely with auditors banks and tax advisors. Your strong understanding of AIFRS combined with advanced Excel and data analysis skills enables you to translate complex financial data into clear and actionable insights.
