Principal responsibilities
Drive for data outcome/OKR delivery across Value Stream and provide thought leadership
Ensure the alignment to HSBC data strategies and lead towards achieving strategic aims for iWPB Data Tech
Influent strategy/decision making and shape the delivery approach building stakeholder buy-in around plans commitments and changes Accountable for the delivery governance & reporting to stakeholders including business & technology
Build trusted senior stakeholder relationships. Confidence to constructively challenge the agenda in order to help the business and technical teams deliver maximum value for each $ invested as well as cost optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and external technology suppliers/3rd party vendors
Work across business and technology to ensure effective controls and compliance in place and in line with the Business Transformation Framework
Ensure Technology Practices and associated tools are being adopted and adhered to drive for continuous improvement of SRE (DORA Resilience and Reliability)
Act as a leader for high-performance culture and team growth
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
Over 14 years experience on technology delivery with proven track record as delivery lead in agile environment leading data-drive projects would be a plus
Strong background in Google Cloud Platform/GCP (BigQuery Dataflow Pub/Sub etc.) Python and data technologies (Data Ingression/Egression API ETL data warehouse data lake data visualization etc)
Knowledge on Data Management Controls is preferred Understanding of DevOps and SRE practices and CI/CD pipelines
Strong Leadership and management skills
Ability to drive decisions to conclusion across multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization through strong influencing skills even in times of ambiguity
Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Experienced in managing and working with global and diverse teams across locations time zones and cultures
Proven ability in managing senior stakeholder relationships in a complex matrix environment
