Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a CMI & Data Analytics Manager you will be responsible for owning endtoend insight delivery across market consumer and category intelligence supporting China business decisionmaking across fragrance makeup and skincare.

You will work in a fastpaced agile environment partnering closely with Marketing Sales Ecommerce and Global CMI teams to translate data and research into clear business actions.

Your main focus will be:

  • Be at the forefront of market and consumer insight delivery translating data into actionable recommendations for brand and commercial teams
  • Own China market & category intelligence including market trends pricing tiers competitive landscape and growth opportunities
  • Lead consumer insight projects endtoend including research design questionnaire development fieldwork management data analysis and synthesis
  • Integrate multiple data sources (consumer study retail data ecommerce data syndicated studies internal CRM data) into clear decisionready insights
  • Prepare firstcut insights POVs and recommendation options to support business reviews AOP and leadership discussions
  • Partner closely with Marketing Sales Trade Marketing and Ecommerce teams to support innovation pricing communication and gotomarket decisions
  • Manage research agencies and suppliers to ensure highquality outputs ontime delivery and cost efficiency
  • Act as a key interface between Global CMI frameworks and China business needs ensuring local relevance and clarity
  • Bring insights to life through clear storytelling and structured presentations that drive discussion and action

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

As an experienced insights professional you get energy from working in a dynamic diverse and international environment. You are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and forming structured viewpoints from complex information.

Other than that you:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 58 years of relevant experience in CMI market research consulting or FMCG / beauty industry
  • Solid experience across quantitative and qualitative research techniques including adhoc studies syndicated research social listening and market data analysis
  • Strong ability to synthesize insights across data sources even when information is incomplete or imperfect
  • Proven capability to manage multiple stakeholders and operate effectively in crossfunctional teams
  • Strong commercial mindset with clear understanding of how insights drive business decisions
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to structure and present insights clearly to business teams
  • Experience managing research agencies and budgets ensuring actionable results at best cost
  • Preferred background with both agency and inhouse experience with strong deck building and presentation skills in both English and Chinese
