Job Summary
We are looking for a Branch/Yard Assistant to join us at our Norwich branch. If youre someone who enjoys hands-on work takes pride in delivering great customer service and thrives as part of a friendly supportive team this could be a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career. No two days are the same and youll play a key role in helping our branch run smoothly while building valuable skills along the way.
Your job
This role involves:
- Providing customers with product and service information
- Pick customer orders accurately
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
- Process orders accurately within a time dictated by the customer deadline
- Serve customers on the trade counter when required
- Customer interaction
Qualifications :
Job Requirements
Required:
- Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills
- Literacy & Numeracy
- A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
- An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
Desirable:
- Warehouse experience
- A good knowledge of computers
- Forklift truck licence
