Mō te tūranga About the role
As part of our reception team you will be the first point of contact for our residents family and business contacts and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people especially the elderly and their families. This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm. Your creativity and enthusiasm will support you in your day-to-day tasks including:
- Attending to reception duties including telephone calls and assisting residents and visitors in a warm friendly and professional manner
- Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the administration team
- Running our small on-site shop
- Booking resident appointments
- Maintaining/creating resident database profiles
- Providing services pleasantly and courteously which is respectful of individual privacy dignity and personal property
Qualifications :

Strength and competence in customer service and administration through experience in a similar role. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Ability to interact & communicate with a variety of people
- Ability to think on their feet and and solve problems
- Compassion and sensitivty
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong experience with Office 365 including Outlook Teams Word Excel and PowerPoint.
