As our Contract Administrator based in Invercargill youll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our operations and maintenance contracts.
Youll sit at the heart of the contract ensuring administrative processes systems and financial workflows run smoothly and accurately. From managing purchase orders and subcontractor administration to preparing invoices claims and reports your work will directly support operational teams and help meet client expectations.
Youll maintain and manage contract data systems ensuring information is accurate up to date and delivered to the right people at the right time. Youll monitor work in progress (WIP) track job progress and follow up on outstanding claims and invoiceshelping keep everything on schedule and compliant.
Working closely with the Contract Manager and Senior Contract Administrator youll also contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes ensuring all administrative functions are delivered to a consistently high standard.
This is a role for someone who thrives on structure accuracy and being a reliable support behind a high-performing team.

You bring:
- Experience in administration ideally within infrastructure construction or services
- Strong numerical skills and understanding of job costing principles
- Confidence managing data systems and reporting requirements
- Experience with invoicing claims or financial administration
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- A proactive approach and willingness to improve systems and processes
Youre also:
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint SharePoint)
- Systems-savvy with experience in data entry and database management
