This is a career-defining opportunity to drive strategic growth operational excellence and sector-leading innovation while remaining deeply anchored in person-centred role extends across metropolitan and regional NSW and the ACT requiring a leader comfortable operating at scale across complexity and within evolving funding OpportunityAs General Manager you will play a central leadership role within our Mental Health & Wellbeing Directorate turning strategic vision into operational excellence and delivering measurable meaningful General Manager you will: Lead high-quality evidence-based mental health and psychosocial services across multiple regions Translate strategy into measurable impact across service delivery people and performance Drive strategic growth innovation and new funding opportunities Ensure strong financial performance sustainability and service viability Build and lead a high-performing inclusive culture grounded in safety and accountability Strengthen executive relationships with key stakeholders and funding bodies Position Uniting as a sector leader in community mental healthAbout YouYou are an accomplished leader who combines strategic vision with operational will bringPostgraduate qualifications in Business Finance and/or Mental Health or Community ServicesExtensive experience leading large geographically dispersed multidisciplinary teamsStrong commercial acumen with demonstrated success managing government-funded programsProven tender and contract management expertiseStrong understanding of evidence-based mental health models health system architecture and funding/commissioning leading organisational change in complex service systemsStrong knowledge of relevant legislation governance and compliance frameworksMost importantly you are purpose driven.
