Job Summary

TCEA/TCAA INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY

Summer Academy will be held from June 30 2026 to July 30 2026 with online learning throughout July and face-to-face support 3 days a week. The Summer School Academy and Credit Recovery Director will oversee logistics of face-to-face and virtual programming during the Summer Academy oversee staff serving students assist with student related issues oversee parent communication processes coordinate any necessary purchasing related to the program ensure that all appropriate student data is housed in PowerSchool upon student completion of credits oversee issues related to logistics of utilizing the online platform and other duties as assigned.

Academy Dates and Times:

Enrollment for Summer Academy is June 25 2026 - June 26 2026

Program Dates: June 30 2026 - July 30 2026 on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays

8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. is the face-to-face lab hours for students.

Location: Traverse City High School

Entire Schedule and Pay:

$50 per hour

Before June 30 additional time will be provided for logistics student enrollment and preparation
June 30 - July 30 - Summer Academy (students present 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 15 days @ 4 hours per day (60 total hours)
After July 30 additional time will be provided for logistics related to closing Summer Academy

Required Credential:
Valid Michigan Teaching Certification; Michigan Administrator Certification preferred.
