Whats the role

An exciting opportunity for a Senior System Analyst to join the Fraud Prevention team within Customer and Corporate Services at Westpac.

The role is responsible to provide technical support and expertise for fraud analytics systems tools and processes. Focuses on improving system design efficiency stability and data quality. It includes supporting the development testing release and monitoring of analytics database and web environments.

The position works closely with project security risk and compliance teams to ensure strong system governance and continuous improvement and contributes to process and policy enhancements.

What do I need

• Demonstrated experience working with SAS production environments.
• Proven experience supporting and managing batch analytics processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear effective and reliable stakeholder engagement.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

Desirable skills:

• Implementing or maintain DevOps pipelines ideally Jenkins/Chef/Artifactory
• Familiar with SQL REST APIs GIT and Linux
• Delivery of projects or initiatives
• Experience with modern web development frameworks ideally
