Job Description:
Are you ready to take your ECAD design expertise to the next level We are looking for a skilled professional to create and maintain schematic symbols solder pad footprints 3D CAD models and will be routing and laying out components on printed circuit boards. With your CAD experience and/or relevant engineering degree your knowledge of electrical components and industry standards like IPC and ASME/ANSI will ensure our designs meet the highest quality standards. Essential Functions:
Create and maintain schematic symbols and solder pad footprints for Electrical Computer Aided Design (ECAD) library from component vendor data sheets and comply with IPC standards and internal standards.
Create and maintain 3D CAD Models of ECAD library parts for use by Mechanical Engineering.
Layout and Route multi-layer printed circuit boards
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
1 year of 3D CAD modeling experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
Proficiency in Mentor Xpedition Siemens NX and Siemens Teamcenter is a plus.
A skilled tools administrator to manage and maintain our Mentor Graphics software suite backend. This individual will be responsible for ensuring our design tools are effectively configured updated and maintained to support the entire engineering design team.
