Job Summary
Electrical Engineer - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
The Opportunity
Were looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support critical infrastructure within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows electrical systems deeply and thrives in a fast-paced highly regulated setting where uptime and compliance arent optional.
What Youll Do
Own maintenance and reliability of high voltage low voltage and power distribution systems including panels and sub-transformers
Execute preventive maintenance calibration and validation programs on time and to GMP standards
Lead electrical installation and retrofit projects from scope through commissioning
Partner with cross-functional teams to specify procure and commission equipment
Manage vendor relationships service agreements and spare parts inventory
Support regulatory inspections audits and change control processes
Respond to electrical and utility breakdowns with urgency
What You Bring
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
6 years of experience in electrical engineering within pharma or regulated manufacturing
Strong knowledge of high/low voltage systems utilities and power distribution
Working knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70) NFPA standards and OSHA electrical safety requirements
Familiarity with 11kVA systems and high voltage operations
Ability to read electrical schematics P&IDs and construction blueprints
Experience with regulatory inspections and GMP compliance
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Self-starter with strong communication skills and calm under pressure
