Sales Engineer - Nigeria

What you can expect in this role

We are hiring a strategic and customer-oriented Sales Engineer to manage our commercial operations in Nigerias market.

As a member of the North and West Africa Sales Team you will be responsible for managing key accounts leading high-value customer projects and delivering tailored value-added solutions that meet evolving market demands of industrial client in the region especially for Mining Cement and Metals industries.

You will join a global organization and collaborate with teams across the world working to reduce friction through our technologies and services to ensure seamless operations for our customers

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to reach and surpass assigned objectives
  • Align sales efforts with NWA strategies and business objectives.
  • Manage the full customer lifecycle: sales forecasting supply planning order handling delivery coordination and payment follow-up.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and profitability through strategic account management
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand business needs build and deepen long-term commercial and technical relationships
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify new business opportunities.
  • Recommend innovative solutions to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives monthly forecasting and process optimization.
  • Support promotional campaigns and strategic planning.

What we expect for this position

  • Degree in Engineering / Business Management as well as technical industrial knowledge; Master Degree will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in industrial sales preferably in heavy industries (MMPC); experience in manufacturing industries will be considered as meritorious.
  • Self-motivated and execution focused with an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good planning and problem solving skills with ability to manage projects and deliver results across multiple markets.
  • Good learning ability curiosity and willingness to develop further.
  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken
  • Be willing to travel frequently to visit customers regularly to build customer relationships and trust
