Job Summary
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced D365 FO Commerce Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team in Portugal. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations with a focus on Commerce modules and will play a key role in designing implementing and supporting end-to-end retail and e-commerce solutions.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead functional design configuration and implementation of D365 FO Commerce modules including Retail e-commerce POS and related components.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business processes.
- Configure workflows merchandising pricing inventory and customer management functionalities.
- Provide functional guidance and support during UAT testing and deployment.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and create functional documentation.
- Collaborate with other D365 FO functional consultants (Finance Supply Chain etc.) to ensure seamless integration across modules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues ensuring optimal system performance and usability.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 35 years of experience as a D365 FO Functional Consultant with a focus on Commerce/Retail.
- Strong knowledge of D365 FO Retail POS and Commerce modules including e-commerce integrations.
- Experience in business process analysis requirement gathering and solution design.
- Understanding of integrations with other Microsoft products (Power Platform Azure etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong communication skills in English; Portuguese is a plus.

- Experience with Omni-channel commerce solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to train and mentor junior consultants.
