This position reports to the Operations Analytics Manager
Purpose of the role:
Supporting the Supply Chain with a focus (but not limited to) onInbound teams on daily operational system issues systematicinvestigations and providing technical support both internal and
external (i.e. 3rd party service providers like Adaptris andOracle).
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Inbound Supply Chain Operations team with:
- Providing high quality data and process analysis to theSupply Chain Operations team to identify problem areasand suggest improvements.
- Investigating system performance issues and identifyingon opportunities for improvement to inbound systems
- Managing a team of Technical Support Specialists andproviding technical support for both internal and externalstakeholders
- Creating and maintaining operational reports on LookerLooker Studio DataForm data pipelines and bespokesolutions
- Administration of inbound supply chain systemsprimarily focused on managing day to day capacities for inbound delivery bookings.
- Providing User Acceptance Testing for inbound systemchanges and EDI integrations with external stakeholders
Attributes required:
- Advanced proficiency with SQL is a must
- Experience in data visualization tools such as LookerStudio Power BI
- Coding (preferably Python) advantageous
- Analytical strong process improvement approach andstructured thinking
- Solutions-oriented can-do attitude self-motivated
- Ability to motivate manage discipline and develop teammembers
- Strong prioritisation time management and projectmanagement skills
- Interpretive and probabilistic decisions
- Specialized service of analytical/ technical/ advisorynature
Qualifications:
- 3 years technical knowledge of system workflows andintegrations
- 3 years experience as an analyst (business analyst dataanalyst system analyst) - in the Supply Chain and Retail Industry or similar
advantageous - Basic SQL
- NQF7 or final year
