Job Summary

Minuteman High School is seeking a qualified Music Club Advisor for the school year. This is a stipend position with responsibilities and compensation detailed below.Major Responsibilities:

Allow all Minuteman students after school access to the music room and music equipment under the supervision and guidance of the Music Club Advisor.
Identify the musical interests needs and aptitudes of individual students and target instruction and learning activities accordingly.
Provide individual and small group instruction in guitar piano voice percussion music production technology and music theory and composition.
Create opportunities for students to compose share musical ideas and work cooperatively in small ensembles under the guidance of the Music Club Advisor.
Coordinate recording sessions of individual students as wells as group multi-track recording projects using the schools recording equipment.
Encourage involvement in District and All-State music festivals and coach students for auditions as needed.
Ensure that all financial activities are processed through the proper student activity account.
Complete an approved Program of Work.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ability to use and maintain musical equipment.

Additional Requirements:

This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public walking around the school standing for periods occasionally lifting and carrying items reading documents using a computer listening and speaking using office equipment maintaining energy throughout the day and handling stress effectively.

Terms of Employment:

Stipend Position.

Effective Dates of Employment:

This is a stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year.
The person who fills this position will be the contact for any relevant and important information prior to the start of the school year.

Principal.

Compensation:

The total stipend for this position is $1507 for the entire assignment.
