Job Summary
We are seeking a Part-Time Social Media Specialist for approximately 10 hours per week to collaborate with the Director of Communication to plan create and manage engaging content across our social media platforms. This role helps communicate our mission events and stories in a compelling and consistent way strengthening connection and engagement within our community and beyond.
This role offers the opportunity for a flexible work schedule with remote work opportunity.
Requirements
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience managing a church/business social media account.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Must be fully bi-lingual in Spanish and English including written grammatical competence in both languages.
- Strong interpersonal skills; team player.
- A multimedia artist competent with taking photos capturing and editing video and creating graphics independently. Comfortable using programs like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.
- Ability to work independently
- Analytical and able to interpret social media analytics.
- Acceptance and agreement with WBC Statement of Doctrine and Faith and WBC Statement of Christian Lifestyle.
- Willing to fully participate as an active member of Wheaton Bible Church.
Schedule Requirements
- Sundays are required.
- Ability to attend occasional evening or weekend events to content capture.
- Primarily remote work is possible with some on-stie presence required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Regular use of computer phone and other office equipment.
- Ability to stand and move about during events for extended periods of time.
