FY 2027 Graduation Coordinator Stipend Position

Job Summary
Minuteman High School is seeking a qualified Graduation Coordinator for the school year. This is a stipend position with responsibilities and compensation detailed below.Major Responsibilities:
- Order caps and gowns; Order diplomas and folios.
- Follow up on students who are/are not earning certification.
- Organize diplomas/certifications into folios.
- Measure students for caps and gowns.
- Create commemorative program.
- Connect with Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
- Coordinate with business office re: payment to LMA.
- Coordinate with business office re: insurance for LMA.
- Field numerous parental phone calls re: graduation in general.
- Meet with DVC re: invitations and programs.
- Coordinate parking with the city (pick up the parking meter/validation).
- Coordinate with LexMedia.
- Coordinate with LifeTouch.
- Meet with students regarding speeches.
- Coordinate with principal re: student speeches.
- Request graduation volunteers and coordinate volunteer assignments.
- Arrange busses with Deans office.
- Coordinate rehearsal with students.
- Order lunch for students for rehearsal.
- Work on packet that is distributed to families re: graduation and rehearsal.
- Coordinate speakers.
- Notify staff of graduation expectations.
- Coordinate with Chief Executive Assistant to the Superintendent re: SC attendance at graduation.
- Numerous parental correspondence re: rehearsal/graduation/awards night.
- Coordinate with horticulture re: flowers.
- Connect with Director of Admissions and Marketing re: media coverage.
- Coordinate with NHS advisors re: tassels/sashes.
- Coordinate with military representatives.
- Coordinate the delivery of goods to LMA.
- Meet with maintenance re: responsibilities.
- Produce graduation statistics for JJ. Cammarata.
- Coordinate sign-out process for seniors.
- Stage set-up for LMA.
- Graduation placement follow-up.
- Hold numerous logistics meetings with colleagues.
- Check the need for interpreter at ceremony.
- Pomp and Circumstance CD.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Self-motivated; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing in person through email and on the telephone.
- Ability to coordinate school-wide events.
- This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public walking around the school standing for periods occasionally lifting and carrying items reading documents using a computer listening and speaking using office equipment maintaining energy throughout the day and handling stress effectively.
- Stipend Position.
- This is a stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year.
- The person who fills this position will be the contact for any relevant and important information prior to the start of the school year.

- The total stipend for this position is $5194 for the entire assignment.
