Masters Degree in School Administration

Prior Successful School-Based Administrative Exp. Five or More Years of Successful Teaching Exp.

Person County Schools seeks a Principal forPerson High School. Position is available July 1 2026. Position is full-time and includes employment benefits; 12-month employment term plus 25.0% local supplement. Applicants for the position must hold or be eligible to hold NC licensure in area 0012 (School Administrator/Principal) and must demonstrate:

  • Successful teaching administrative and leadership experience
  • Dedication to supporting and improving positive student achievement
  • Superior instructional leadership qualities
  • Ability to lead the development of Professional Learning Communities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong organizational managerial and problem-solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of school business practices and operations
