HIGH SCHOOL SCHOOL
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
Reports to: Building Principal
Job Objectives:
Assists the building principal with the management of school programs and services. Helps promote an effective learning environment. Provides guidance to help staff carry out adopted educational programs and services. Helps evaluate the ability of the instructional program to meet the learning needs of all students. Provides leadership in the development of innovative organizational administrative and program recommendations to improve the school district.

Supervisory Responsibility:
Under the direction of the building principal: administers the supervision and evaluation of assigned staff as authorized by board policy administrative regulations and contractual agreements.

Performance Evaluation:
Job performance is evaluated according to the policy provisions adopted by the Sidney City School District Board of Education.
