As a Security Officer - TWIC Patrol in Alvin TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control document observations and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while delivering outstanding customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures access requirements and reporting expectations at an industrial chemical processing location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating notifications and communications per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings processing areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify irregular conditions for reporting.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles and individuals verify credentials and manage visitor logs keys and/or badges in accordance with site policies.
• Complete detailed documentation such as patrol activity reports incident reports and shift logs and communicate pertinent information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
